Ambassador Fiona H. C. Fan Met with New Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Godwin Friday of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to Enhance Taiwan-SVG Friendship

On Friday, December 12, 2025, Ambassador Fiona Hui-Chun Fan met Dr. Godwin Friday, Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The two sides exchanged views on issues of common concern and interests.
Ambassador Fan reiterated, on behalf of the people and government of the Republic of China (Taiwan), the congratulations to Prime Minister Friday and his New Democratic Party (NDP) cabinet for their new governance and achievements in national development. She also assured to further deepen bilateral relations based on the solid foundation of long-term cooperation. Amb. Fan also expressed Taiwan's commitment to implementing “Value Diplomacy” promoting democracy, freedom, peace and prosperity, and more “Diplomatic Ally Prosperity Projects”.
Prime Minister Friday welcomed the meeting with Ambassador Fan and discussed pleasantly various matters touching and concerning the way forward for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, anticipating the continuous development of reciprocal cooperation and mutual prosperity.
