The South African Government has officially announced that lockdown regulations (Adjusted Alert Level 4) to 25 July 2021 in response to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic.
As a result, the Taipei Liaison Office in the Republic of South Africa will be closed during this time in compliance with the lockdown measures imposed by the South African Government.

For ROC (Taiwan) nationals who seek emergency assistance in an event of “severe injuries” or “threats to personal safety” and other probable emergencies, please call our emergency assistance line at (+27) 082-802-9380. Kindly note that this hotline DOES NOT provide consular services.
Please also note that the consular and office premises will be temporarily closed during the lockdown.
All consular applications will be processed and received on an “appointment only” basis. Should you require urgent assistance for such applications during this time, please make an appointment first by sending an email to tlorsavisa@gmail.com or a text message to 082-906-1413.

Applications sent to this office via postal or courier services during Level 4 will also be processed as soon as possible depending on the availability of the staff.
