Taiwan Immigration Update: Online Arrival Card Mandatory from October 2025
分享到
Taiwan has launched a new online system for foreign visitors to complete the ONLINE TAIWAN ARRIVAL CARD (TWAC) via the National Immigration Agency website before flying to Taiwan. This new system helps streamline the immigration process for foreign visitors upon their arrival.
Both the TWAC and the current traditional paper arrival card will be accepted until September 30, 2025. Starting from October 1, 2025, Taiwan will fully switch to the online system and will no longer accept paper arrival cards. Foreign visitors must complete the TWAC within 3 days before landing.
Please note that the ONLINE TAIWAN ARRIVAL CARD (TWAC) is completely free of charge and does not require any payment. To access the official TWAC system, please use the following link. https://twac.immigration.gov.tw/
Currently, some visitors were falsely requested for a payment of $29.60 for ONLINE TAIWAN ARRIVAL CARD (TWAC). This is a SCAM. TWAC is entirely free. Do not pay any fees, and please stay vigilant about protecting your personal data.
