Program Description
To provide opportunities for the professional career development of domestic and international artistic and cultural creatives and to promote cultural and artistic exchanges between Taipei City and cities around the world, the Department of Artist-in-Residence (AIR, hereafter referred to as “the department”) of the Taipei Culture Foundation, using Treasure Hill Artist Village (THAV) as a base, promotes “Artist-in-Residence Taipei (AIR Taipei).” This initiative establishes a network that transcends national boundaries, offering an open call for art projects that allow contemporary art and cultural workers to visit and participate in a residence in Taipei City. The aim is to increase the professional development opportunities for domestic and international artistic talents, allowing cross-cultural and interdisciplinary creative energies to experiment, collide, and integrate, thus fostering cultural and artistic exchanges.
