Commencement of the 2022 Taiwan Fellowship Application

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan) is pleased to announce the commencement of the 2022 Taiwan Fellowship application. Interested foreign experts and scholars may apply from May 1st to June 30th 2021.
The term of fellowship is 3 to 12 months. The research topic may be one of the following: Taiwan; Cross-Strait Relations; Mainland China; Sinology; Assessing Political and Economic Situation in the Age of the COVID-19 Pandemic; Indo-Pacific Regional Security; Taiwan’s New South Bound Policy; Global Cyber Security; National Defense Strategy; Fighting against Fake News; and Gender Equality.
The financial assistance will include a monthly stipend of NT$50,000 (approximately US$ 1,777) to NT$60,000 (approximately US$ 2,132), one round-trip economy class flight ticket to Taiwan as well as accidental Taiwan national health insurance.
