Visa applicants, married to a citizen of the Republic of China (Taiwan), who intend to visit Taiwan and stay there for a period longer than 180 days must submit the required documents in person and pay the visa fee at the nearest ROC Embassy, Consulate or Representative Mission to apply for a Resident Single-Entry Visa.
The requirements are as follows:
- Completed and signed visa application form. Visit the website: https://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw/ to fill out the application form online and print it out;
- Passport valid for at least six more months after entering Taiwan (original & photocopy of the page with applicant’s photo);
- Two passport-size biometric photos in color taken within 6 months;
- Original R.O.C. (Taiwan) Household Registration certificate issued within 3 months;
- Health Certificate (original & photocopy);
- Non-criminal record (original & photocopy);
- Marriage Certificate (original & photocopy);
- Photocopy of R.O.C. ID of a Taiwanese spouse;
- Consular fee in cash (in Polish currency).
Please note, that if any of the required documents was issued in foreign language, it has to be translated by a sworn translator into English or Chinese language.
Please note, that if you are not a citizen of any Schengen Area country, you must have a valid Polish Residence Card.
Applicant may submit visa application not earlier than one month before the date of entering Taiwan.
Standard processing times of visa application is 7 calendar days (a week).
Health Certificate needs to be notarized and then also legalized by Dział Legalizacji Ministerstwa Spraw Zagranicznych RP and TRO in Poland. The health check can be performed in any medical facility.
Non-criminal record needs to be legalized by Dział Legalizacji Ministerstwa Spraw Zagranicznych RP and TRO in Poland.
Marriage Certficiate needs to be legalized by Dział Legalizacji Ministerstwa Spraw Zagranicznych RP and TRO in Poland.

To legalize documents at the Taipei Representative Office in Poland, it is necessary to submit:
- Legalized documents;
- Legalization application completed in English and signed by the owner of the documents: www.boca.gov.tw/cp-207-454-a8064-2.html
- Photocopy of passport of the document's owner;
- Consular fee in cash, in Polish currency (PLN 68 per one document).
