Investment and Trade Office

The Investment and Trade Office of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States is a branch under the Ministry of Economic Affairs for the Republic of China (Taiwan). Our mission is to enhance both the bilateral investment relationship and the innovation technology partnership between Taiwan and the states of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine by providing American investors with information and incentives for doing business with Taiwan.

This office works closely with the economic development authorities of these nine state governments and organizes events such as "Meet the CEO" along with US-Taiwan Business Club networking events in order to share up-to-date business strategies and investment opportunities in Taiwan.

Besides attracting foreign direct investment to Taiwan, according to the "Merchandise Export Transformative Action Plan" and the “Industrial Advancement and Transformation Plan,” both provided by the Executive Yuan in 2014, we focus on allying ourselves with the United States to strengthen our technological innovation and advanced manufacturing sectors while assisting Taiwanese vendors in becoming part of the U.S. domestic supply Chain.
